Students enrolled in at least twelve hours who
achieve a grade point average of at least 3.50 with no grade
below a B- are included on the list published each fall and
spring semester.
Summa Cum Laude Graduation with highest honors
requires a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 on
course work accepted for transfer and all work taken at the
University.
Magna Cum Laude Graduation with high honors requires
a cumulative grade point average of 3.70 on course work
accepted for transfer and all work taken at the University.
Cum Laude Graduation with honors requires a cumulative
grade point average of 3.50 on course work accepted for
transfer and all work taken at the University.
Alpha Chi In the junior and senior years, students who
have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.85
may be tapped by the Faculty for membership in this
nationally recognized honor society. Alpha Chi is
committed to promoting excellence at the undergraduate
level and professional life.
Phi Delta Lambda In the latter part of the senior year,
students may be elected by the Faculty for membership in
the Kappa chapter of the International Nazarene Honor
Society, Phi Delta Lambda, sponsored by the Church of the
Nazarene. Each spring the Faculty may elect up to 15% of
the baccalaureate degree class into membership. Students who complete requirements in summer or fall are
considered the next spring.
