For those interested in teaching physical education and health, as well as those who pursue careers in recreational and sports management settings, the growing national interest in fitness and health and the increasing professionalization of sports has opened up a wealth of career opportunities.
 A major in physical education at MVNU will help you master the knowledge and skills to work in school, community, camp, fitness, and recreational programs or in sports management settings. If your goal is to teach, our physical education programs not only meet licensure requirements for Ohio and many other states, you will also gain practical experience teaching physical education and health in pre-school through secondary school environments through field experiences every semester you attend MVNU.
Graduates of MVNU’s physical education programs find exciting work as fitness instructors, sports facilities managers, sports information directors, and much more.
