Mount Vernon Nazarene University is the official university of the Church of the Nazarene on the East Central Region, sponsored by the Nazarene congregations of Ohio, West Virginia, and eastern Kentucky. Given the tremendous support of our pastors and parishioners, MVNU is committed to cultivating our relationship with Churches of the Nazarene across the region through travel programs and university representation provided for local churches and district/regional organizations by Church Relations.

The University also strives to be a resource center for spiritual renewal, leadership training, and ministry development of pastors and lay leaders, through continuing education seminars, conferences, and special events. Representation and resources are also available for churches of all denominations in the Knox County area and throughout the tri state area.
