Admission Requirements

- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Official transcripts from any accredited college/university attended to earn undergraduate credit
- Completed application
- Two references submitted to GPS office
- Applicants whose native language is not English must provide evidence of proficiency in English by scoring 500 or above on the TOEFL test or scoring 17 or above on the ESL Proficiency Examination
- Pre-program assessment form
- Individuals not having a bachelor’s degree may earn a Certificate of Ministry Preparation (CMP) if their goal is to be ordained as an elder or deacon in the Church of the Nazarene or simply to increase their ministry effectiveness as a lay person.
- Individuals not having a bachelor’s degree who wish to increase their ministry ability without pursuing a degree may follow the master's degree course format in six core areas and earn a Certificate of Ministry Development (CMD).
- Courses may also be taken for Continuing Education Units (CEU).
