What is mvNYu?
It is a travel-study program offered every other year (odd-numbered years) by the English and Modern Languages department. The course includes a full week in New York City, where students study and read literature that is written by New Yorkers, written in New York, or written about New York, all while experiencing the culture of Manhattan from the Statue of Liberty to Broadway to street vendors.
The course offers general education credit for the Explorations in Literature category (or American Literature Special Topics credit for English and ILA majors).
In 2015, the course will run from May 18-June 5. We will be in NYC from May 24-May 31. The other two weeks we are on-campus.
The trip is also available to friends or alumni of MVNU. For more information, please contact
Dr. Brett Wiley.
