year During Keith’s career, the Cougars posted a 121-68 overall record and won three Mid-Ohio Conference titles. The team also captured its first National Christian College Athletic Association national championship during his senior season in 1989. As a sophomore, Keith was named to the MOC, NAIA District 22, and the NAIA Area VI First Teams as well as the NAIA Honorable Mention All-American Team after posting a 7-3 record with a 2.54 earned run average. As a senior, Keith was named to the MOC, NAIA District 22, and NCCAA District III First Teams as he went 10-3 with a 3.39 ERA. Keith still ranks sixth on the school’s career victory list with 24 wins. He also ranks fourth with 249 innings pitched. Following his senior season in 1989, Keith was drafted in the 36th round of the amateur baseball draft by the Seattle Mariners.
