Lady Cougars close out season with pair of shutouts
May 3rd, 2010The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s fastpitch softball team closed out the 2010 season on Monday afternoon at Cougar Field by sweeping a non-conference doubleheader from Ohio State University-Newark in shutout fashion as the Lady Cougars blanked the Lady Titans 8-0 and 10-0. Seniors lead Lady Cougars to shutout and walk-off wins
April 28th, 2010The six seniors on the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s fastpitch softball team did their part on Senior Day as they combined for 15 hits and six RBI to complement two outstanding pitching performances as MVNU defeated Ursuline College 6-0 and 2-1 in American Mideast Conference action at Cougar Field on Wednesday afternoon.
