Large crowd cheers Lady Cougars past Denison in home opener
September 2nd, 2008A boisterous crowd of over 1,200 fans showed up to cheer the Mount Vernon Nazarene University women’s volleyball team to a 25-15, 25-11, 25-15 sweep of Denison University in non-conference action in the Physical Education Center on Tuesday night as the Lady Cougars ran their home winning streak to 20 matches with the victory in their 2008 home opener.
