Scott Peterson oversees the work of Campus Ministries, Church Relations, University Marketing, and University Advancement. He provides overall leadership and management for the comprehensive programs within each area of University Relations and is responsible for internal and external communications. Scott serves on the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the President.

Laura leads University Advancement which encompasses Alumni Relations and Development. She coordinates development strategies which include major gifts, donor cultivation, planned giving, corporate sponsorship, stewardship and special events. Laura works closely with the Vice President for University Relations developing advancement and alumni initiatives.

Esther diligently ensures that every gift is processed, recorded, and receipted properly. She works closely with development staff and Accounting to properly document the philanthropic support of all MVNU constituencies.

Terry DunnavantMVNU Student Connect Coordinator

Terry leads the efforts for our MVNU Student Connect initiatives working directly with student callers. Our student calling strategies span the entire academic year and MVNU students have the opportunity to connect with alumni, donors, parents, and other University friends. Terry's work involves training student callers, planning calling sessions, implementing stewardship plans, and reporting progress.

Rochel provides administrative support for the Vice President for University Relations. Her work involves organizational efforts to provide assistance for the University Relations division, and service for University constituencies. In addition, Rochel is serving as Interim Coordinator of Alumni Relations. She leads strategic initiatives to foster strong alumni connections to MVNU through the Alumni Council, communication strategies, Homecoming, special events, Alumni Chapters, and a variety of other activities. Heather assists the Director of Alumni Relations with office organization and administrative responsibilities. She is instrumental in the maintenance of alumni records, assists with the coordination of Homecoming and other alumni events, and collaborates with Marketing in the production of various alumni mailings.

Katelyn provides administrative assistance for Development helping coordinate fundraising initiatives, meetings, corporate sponsorships, student thank you programs, prospect research, and special events. She works closely with the Managing Director of University Advancement on various projects and fundraising strategies.

Deb manages endowment and scholarship records, contacts, and awarding. She works closely with Student Financial Services to ensure that scholarship allocations are distributed to MVNU students. She also assists the Managing Director with prospect management, various donor and alumni reports, and maintaining annual and cumulative donor records that are listed in annual donor report.
