Military-Friendly Degree Programs Built Just For You
In terms of earning a bachelor’s or graduate degree, veterans, active-duty military members, and their spouses have specific educational needs. We understand that flexibility is essential in the event you go through a location transfer, are deployed, or are a reservist with a busy schedule. Also, if you’ve recently returned home, we realize that the traditional college environment might not be ideal for you. That’s why we’ve built our programs to meet these unique needs.
With a history of serving military members, MVNU’s GPS programs are ideal for both veterans and active personnel. Many of our bachelor’s and graduate degrees are 100% online, allowing you to complete your education right from home or anywhere in the world. This eliminates the need to transfer credits, should you move to a new location.
Curricula for our military-friendly degree programs are developed by experts and continually updated. We pair this with a stimulating classroom environment, where your professors and peers encourage your personal and professional success. Throughout, all programs weave in biblical values, emphasize leadership principles and an ethical mindset, and open up the opportunity for service projects.
Further helping you work around your current schedule, military members can take classes one at a time online. As you think about taking the next step, explore all of our military-friendly online degree programs.
Offering Affordable Degree Programs For Veterans & Military Members
Beyond our convenient and flexible online degrees, GPS accommodates veterans, active-duty members, and their spouses in a number of ways. Because we’re a Higher Learning Commission–accredited university, you have the chance to apply your benefits, including the GI Bill, toward your degree here. We also participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Designed for service members who have completed at least 36 months of active duty, Purple Heart recipients, and individuals discharged due to a service-related disability, this program matches funds between schools like MVNU and the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide additional tuition assistance.
Veterans and active-duty military members bring a wealth of experience with them, and that’s why MVNU allows you to apply your service toward your degree through prior-learning credits (PLCs). We accept American Council on Education (ACE) credits for the advanced technical skills you’ve acquired and provide credit for all CLEP exams completed.
