FAQs

1. To log in to Moodle, use your username, which is your last name and the first digit of your first name and middle name.
2. Input your password; it is mvnu# (then your student ID).

For instance, if a student’s name was Bob David Smith and his ID was 1234, his username would be smithbd and his password would be mvnu#1234.

After you log into Moodle, you should see your courses listed on the ‘My Home’ tab, or a link to ‘My Courses’. Your courses should appear in the list approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the course start date. If you do not see the course within 1 week of the start date, please contact the Academic Service Specialist for your specific program area by calling 877-431-9610. Please note that courses with a future start date will appear under the “upcoming” rather than “in progress” list.

If you are experiencing issues logging into Moodle, MVNU’s Portal, or your MVNU email, you may need to reset your password.

Go to http://password.mvnu.edu and select either ‘forgot my password’ or sign in using your MVNU username and password to unlock your accounts. If you need additional help, please contact your Academic Service Specialist by calling 877-431-9610.

Courses in Moodle can be seen your entire college career. Courses you have completed will be listed under the “expired” course list.
