MVNU Inducts 16 Scholars into Alpha Chi National Honor Society

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University is proud to announce the induction of 16 exceptional students into the Ohio Delta chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society for the 2024-2025 academic year. Alpha Chi is a prestigious academic honor society that recognizes the top 10% of juniors and seniors across all disciplines.
Membership to Alpha Chi is by invitation only, and is restricted to traditional undergraduate students who are of junior and/or senior standing or non-traditional undergraduate students in MVNU’s Graduate and Professional Studies programs.
The following students have earned this distinction through their outstanding academic achievements:

To be eligible for induction, students must have completed at least one year as a full-time student at MVNU, completed at least half of the credits required for graduation, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher.
Alpha Chi is recognized as one of the leading honor societies in the nation and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, which ensures the highest standards for student membership and governance. It is one of two ACHS societies dedicated to recognizing the academic achievements of junior and senior students, the other being Phi Kappa Phi.
