Professional Experience
•Rev. Kochis has experience as a youth pastor in both Ironton, Ohio, and Atlanta, Georgia.
•In 1999, he was ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
•In 2003, the Kochis family relocated to Columbus, Ohio, to establish what is now known as The Refinery Church of the Nazarene on Dublin Road. Under their 16 years of leadership, the church grew to have more than 700 attendees during weekend worship services.
•Rev. Kochis previously served as the Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Advancement at MVNU.
•He was elected as the District Superintendent of the North Carolina District Church of the Nazarene on June 24, 2022.
•Appointed Chief Development Officer at MVNU starting Oct. 15, 2024.
Volunteer Experience
•Brad has volunteered as a chaplain for first responders in Norwich Township and Hilliard Police.
•He is a former member of the Board of Trustees at MVNU.
•He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Trevecca Nazarene University.
