Meet The Phonathon Callers
As an important part of MVNU’s fundraising team, student callers reach out to alumni, and friends of the University to share exciting news about campus activities, update contact information, and help raise funds for scholarships and other initiatives. Meet them below.

Major: Youth & Family Ministry
MVNU has been my home since I first visited in 8th grade. I love this place and have cherished each moment that I have been able to spend on campus. This is my fourth year working with Phonathon, and I came back again because I love getting to talk to other people who love MVNU as much as I do. I want to help this campus grow and flourish in any way that I can.

Graduating Year: 2024
Hometown: Millersburg, OH
Major: Criminal Justice
Mount Vernon has been the best experience for me. I love the small community and Christian community. I grew up in a small town a lot like Mount Vernon, so I still feel very much at home here. I joined the Phonathon team because I want to hear all the stories from our donors and friends and help my school grow.
Shelby Gerber
Graduating Year: 2027
Hometown: Sugarcreek, OH
Major: Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
I made the decision to become part of the Phonathon team because I wanted to share how MVNU has already impacted my life. I also would like to help support MVNU in continuing to thrive and flourish so that others can experience Christ as I have while being on campus. MVNU is an amazing place and I am so thankful that God led me here! I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!
Dominic Rose

Major: Emergency Management & Homeland Security
MVNU is a place where I can find like-minded people who want to know God more. MVNU has allowed me to create amazing friendships with not only strangers, who have become friends and family, but also with faculty.

I love MVNU because of the community I found here, especially within the disc golf team. The MVNU campus and disc golf course make it easy for me to connect with others, even those with differing backgrounds.
