Federal Pell Grant

This is a need-based grant and awards for the 2023-2024 award year are up to $7,395. Eligibility is determined by expected family contribution (EFC) as calculated on the FAFSA. This grant is available to full-time and less than full-time students.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Awarded to Federal Pell Grant recipients with the lowest Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by the FAFSA. Awards vary.

Federal TEACH Grant

The TEACH Grant program provides up to $4,000 a year in grant assistance to an undergraduate or graduate student who agrees to serve for at least four years as a full-time teacher in a high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families. A TEACH Grant recipient who does not complete their required teaching requirement within a specified time frame or fails to meet certain other requirements of the TEACH Grant program will be required to repay the TEACH Grant as a direct unsubsidized loan under the William D. Education Training Vouchers for Foster Youth

The Ohio Education and Training Voucher Program offers funds to foster youth and former foster youth to enable them to attend colleges, universities and vocational training institutions. Students may receive up to $5,000 a year for four years as they pursue higher education. The funds may be used for tuition, books or qualified living expenses. These funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis to students out of the Ohio foster care system.
