MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University is thrilled to announce the return of its in-person MBA program starting this August! After several years of offering online graduate programs exclusively, MVNU is bringing back a face-to-face classroom experience. Classes will be held every Monday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on MVNU’s main campus.
“We’re thrilled to launch the MBA on our main campus this August,” said Dr. Eric Stetler, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “This in-person offering reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of students who are eager to grow as leaders through face-to-face learning, community, and collaboration. We believe the energy and connection that come with in-person classes will create an unforgettable, transformative experience.”
This flexible program will offer a balanced combination of coursework, real-time collaboration, and networking opportunities with peers and faculty. Designed for busy professionals, it allows students to advance their careers without sacrificing their work-life balance.
“We’re so excited to offer this one-night-a-week MBA program to adults who are balancing work, life, and education,” said Johnna Vanover, Vice President of University Marketing and GPS Enrollment. “Multiple students have expressed their need for a face-to-face learning experience, and we’re eager to meet that demand and help them reach their professional goals!”
The program, which includes courses of 6-week lengths, begins with Ethical Leadership, followed by classes in Organizational Behavior and Legal Issues. Classes resume in January 2026 with Managerial Economics, Marketing Management, Global Business and Managerial Accounting. Corporate Finance will be offered starting July, and Strategic Management wraps up the year in August.
After this, students will continue their journey online with their choice of seven different concentrations — Accounting, Business Data Analytics, Logistics Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management or Human and Social Services Leadership. An eighth concentration — Organizational Management — will be offered in person. These concentrations include three courses each and must be completed prior to finishing the degree in March 2027.
“While our online programs continue to thrive, we’ve heard from students and professionals who value the deeper engagement and real-time learning that happens in the classroom. Offering the MBA in person allows us to build stronger relationships, foster richer discussions, and provide a dynamic environment that prepares students to lead with confidence and clarity,” said Dr. Stetler.
