2025 will bring another year of Class Reunions to MVNU at Homecoming. Alumni Class Representatives are working hard to plan a Reunion you will remember! Check out your class year below to see details!

1970s
When:Â Saturday, Nov. 15 at 10am
Where: The President's Dining Room located in Hyson Campus Center
Please join us for this time to gather together for our 55th Reunion and Class Meeting! We will invite the recipients of our Pioneer Class Legacy Endowed Scholarship to join us! Class updates will be given and we'll have time with our guest speaker, Ed Cable, Director of Planned Giving.
We will go through the cafeteria lunch line around 11:30 am.

Dear Class of 1970 Classmates and Friends,
Are you ready and can you believe that we are now approaching our 55th MVNC(U) homecoming year? It would be wonderful to have us all congregate on campus to relive and celebrate our golden status and years. We would love to see as many classmates as possible during this homecoming season.
Homecoming dates and activities just for our class:
Thursday, November 13--Those who travel in from a distance often try to meet for dinner on Thursday evening, time and place to be announced later. This is a class activity, not sponsored by MVNU.
Friday, November 14--Another opportunity to meet and eat for lunch, again not sponsored by the University and time and place will be announced later.
Saturday, November 15, 10 a.m.--Class of 1970 Reunion and Meeting in the President's Dining Room in Hyson Campus Center. Recipients of our Pioneer Class Legacy Endowed Scholarship will be joining us. Class updates will be given and we will have time with guest speaker, Ed Cable, Director of Planned Giving.
Saturday, November 15, 11:30 a.m--Following the reunion/meeting, we will pick up our lunch in the dining hall and return to the Presidential Dining Room for prayer, our meal, and time to visit. The Alumni Office will be sending out info and requesting responses for activities that require tickets. Please keep an eye on the Homecoming website. If you will need hotel accommodations, The Grand Hotel may still have rooms available. Be sure and ask for the MVNU discount (no code needed). Also there is a new Hampton Inn in Mt. Vernon. Some of you have previously stayed in other places. Please feel free to share your recommendations by return email distribution in the near future. As we are "maturing more rapidly than ever", it's sometimes difficult to make trips to our MVNU homecomings but that's all the more incentive to return to this special year of celebration. Our class is unique and special. I truly hope that you will be able to come this fall to MVNU.

The Class of 1975 will celebrate its 50th reunion at Homecoming 2026! The classes of 1974, 1975, and 1976 will have one big celebration together next year!
1980s
When: Saturday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 am
Where: Fellowship Hall at Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene located at 16001 Glen Rd., Mount Vernon
Brunch featuring eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and pastries!
Cost: free (donations accepted, with any proceeds going to the MVNU Fund)

- All Classes Alumni Celebration, 6-9 p.m., in Ariel Arena, Foster Hall
- Men’s Basketball Game, 7:30 p.m., in Ariel Arena. Buy $10 tickets at door
- Class of 1990 Free Pizza Party, 9 p.m. to midnight (after men’s basketball game), at the Den/Barn on MVNU campus. Donations for pizza welcomed and accepted. Homemade cookies by your classmates. 80’s and 90’s music, pictures, yearbooks and fun!

Saturday, November 15, 2025:
- 1990 MVNU Campus Tour, 10:30 a.m. to noonish. Meet at the Barn
- Lunch ($6ish) in the MVNU Cafeteria anytime between 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
- Prayer for our Country, College, and Class of 1990 at 1:30 p.m. in the Barn
- Class of 1990 Hang out and play table games in the Barn until 4 p.m.
