MVNU Baseball On Deck Kick-off Event

Attention, baseball fans! Get ready for a memorable evening as Mount Vernon Nazarene University baseball invites you to unite in support of the Cougars on Jan. 18, 2025. This exciting event will feature special guests Tim Belcher, a 14-year Major League veteran and proud MVNU alumnus; Tom Hamilton, the beloved voice of the Cleveland Guardians; and emcee Mark “The Shark” Howell from 97.1 The Fan.

The festivities will kick off with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by a delicious dinner at 6 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand stories from Belcher and Hamilton, who will share highlights from their illustrious careers and engage the audience during their session to wrap up the night.

Tickets are available for $200 each, including dinner, with tables of eight offered for those looking to enjoy the evening with friends or family. All proceeds will support the Cougar baseball team’s On-Deck Stadium Renovation campaign, aimed at enhancing the baseball facilities with key upgrades, including a renovated clubhouse, stadium lights, a new entry and plaza, an updated press box with ticket windows and concession stand, and improved stadium seating.

In addition to an engaging evening, guests will have the chance to participate in a limited live auction featuring a unique 2025 Cleveland Guardians In-Booth Radio Experience with Hamilton, Columbus Blue Jacket tickets and experience with Belcher or an autographed Belcher jersey. There will also be a silent auction showcasing exciting items such as MVNU baseball memorabilia, MLB autographed items, an Amish Country Experience, and more.
