Mount Vernon Nazarene University Presents 2025 Faith Days with the Columbus Clippers

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University is proud to announce its continued partnership of Faith Days at Huntington Park — a series of community-driven events combining baseball, faith, and fellowship with the Columbus Clippers. Whether you’re an MVNU alum, current student, church partner, or friend of the university, these days are your invitation to come together in a fun, meaningful way.

Each Faith Day features special guests from the MVNU community throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, along with a dedicated theme that reflects the university’s values and outreach:

2025 Faith Day Schedule

• Friday, May 23 — Alumni Night — vs. Iowa Cubs, 7:05 PM
  Long-time softball coach Jeana Howald will throw out the first pitch
• Friday, June 6 — Traditional Admissions Night — vs. Toledo Mudhens, 7:05 PM
  Rev. Rob Stanley, Vice President of Enrollment Management, will throw out the first pitch
• Wednesday, July 9 — Graduate and Professional Studies Night — vs. Louisville Bats, 7:05 PM
  Vote for a GPS alum to throw out the first pitch!
• Friday, August 8 — Church Relations Night — vs. Gwinnett Stripers, 7:05 PM
  Rev. Dave Mills, Vice President of Spiritual Life and Church Relations, will take the mound for the first pitch
• Friday, September 19 —Student Life Night — vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 7:05 PM
  The Collegians will perform the national anthem; Dr. Matt Spraker, Vice President of Student Life, will throw out the first pitch
