MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Music Stage Production class will present a Musical Showcase entitled “Bring Me to Light” on Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m., in Thorne Performance Hall in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Fine Arts Building. The concert is free and the community is invited and encouraged to attend.
This special presentation, directed by Professor Carrie Vail, will feature 19 MVNU students who will perform a variety of music in lighter styles. Popular hits from musicals such as The Last Five Years, Jekyll & Hyde, Dear Evan Hansen, The Little Mermaid, Frozen and others will be featured. Students will sing as soloists, in small groups and as a full ensemble.
