Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Choral Union is beginning preparation for its 57th presentation of Handel’s Messiah. The performance will be on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium.
Dr. Carol Matthews appointed as Executive Director for Foundational Learning and Retention
Mount Vernon Nazarene University is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Carol Matthews as the new Executive Director for Foundational Learning and Retention. Dr. Matthews brings a distinguished career in higher education spanning more than three decades, including prior leadership at MVNU as Director of Academic Support and Professor of Psychology.
MVNU names Michael Black as Chief Financial Officer
Black, a 1995 alumnus, brings over 25 years of experience in financial planning, investment management, and business operations.
Dr. Jodi Mills appointed Dean of the College of Adult and Professional Studies
Dr. Mills brings over 15 years of experience in nontraditional and adult education, with a strong record of leadership.
MVNU Athletics Opens Cougar Wall of Fame Nominations
The nomination period will take place between June 23 and July 23.
