MVNU hosts Arbor Day tree plantings in the Quad
The day, in conjunction with Arbor Day which was the same week, was marked with two special tree plantings in the Quad — honoring the memory of Ethan Adkins and establishing a future ceremonial campus Christmas tree.

In celebration of Arbor Day, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Campus Tree Advisory Committee led the planting of two Sweetbay Magnolia trees recently and will add a Bald Cypress to this year’s plantings later in May.
