Any member of the MVNU community who has experienced sexual or physical assault is encouraged to immediately seek medical assistance, contact law enforcement to make a report, and make a report to the University.

Where can I find medical treatment at MVNU?
You can find medical treatment at MVNU through Student Health Services, Knox Community Hospital, and New Directions. Student Health Services provides medical treatment to students and can be reached at 740-397-9000, ext. 4632 (Emergency: 740-507-0275). Knox Community Hospital, located at 1330 Coschocton Avenue, Mount Vernon, OH 43050 (740-393-9000), offers medical treatment and sexual assault forensic exams. New Directions; The Domestic Abuse and Rape Crisis Center of Knox County (Hotline: 740-397-5525) will accompany individuals to a sexual assault forensic exam.
