Dual Enrollment Textbooks
Welcome to the textbook information hub for our Dual Enrollment Program at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU). Whether you’re participating through your public or private high school, or as a homeschool student, this page gives you everything you need to know about how textbooks are handled — all detailed below. If you have questions, our Office of Dual Enrollment is ready to help!
MVNU offers your high school the option to participate in our textbook rental program. Contact the Office of Dual Enrollment at 740-399-8608 or DualEnrollment@mvnu.edu to determine if your high school is a participating book program partner.
Approximately a week before school starts, you will receive an email detailing when and where you can pick up your textbooks. Please remember that these books are rentals; normal wear and tear are expected, but you should try to return your textbooks in a similar condition to when they were issued to you.
Textbooks are due by the end of exam weeks (for commuting students). Online students must use the provided pre-paid label to return their textbooks by the time indicated in their Textbook Return Notification Email.
Textbooks not returned by the required date will be billed to the student's high school.
Homeschool students are responsible for purchasing textbooks and materials. Please visit MVNU's online bookstore to locate required course materials. You will need a copy of your course schedule.
