Pastoral Ministry Program Highlights
Students in the Pastoral Ministry (BA) program at Mount Vernon Nazarene University gain practical, hands-on experience by engaging in real ministry settings. Through internships, service opportunities, and involvement in local churches, students apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations, building confidence and leadership skills for future ministry roles.
Faith is central to every aspect of the program, with coursework that intentionally integrates biblical studies, theology, and spiritual formation. Students are encouraged to deepen their personal relationship with Christ while developing the knowledge and character needed to lead and serve others in a Christ-centered way.
Our travel and study-afar programs let you grow in your faith while experiencing new cultures. Through serving in communities across the U.S. or abroad, you’ll deepen your compassion, explore your callings, and gain meaningful experience for your résumé.
