Curriculum stats/highlights

The curriculum consists of a 36-credit hour MIS core, providing students with a solid understanding of essential topics in management, organizational behavior, information systems, data management, networking, IT governance, and ethics. Additionally, students choose one of five 15-credit hour concentrations: Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, or Emerging Technologies. These concentrations let students specialize in areas of interest and relevance to their career goals.

The Business Analytics concentration focuses on data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and advanced statistical analysis.  The Cybersecurity concentration addresses network security, cryptography, incident response, and ethical hacking. Finally, the Emerging Technologies concentration explores IoT applications, cloud computing, blockchain, AI, and robotic process automation.
