South Main Plaza Art Exhibit
July 28 - Aug. 28, 2025
The focal point of South Main Plaza is an inviting, fun fountain, inspired by the late world-renowned landscape architect Claude Cormier’s fountain in Toronto’s Berczy Park. The fountain features painted cast aluminum sculptures of 18 dogs, one cat, two pairs of birds, a pony, and an apple.
In the five years since the opening of South Main Plaza, tens of thousands have visited with many becoming inspired to artistically replicate their favorite aspect of this whimsical downtown Mount Vernon attraction!
