Choose Ohio First Scholarship
Thanks to the Choose Ohio First (COF) scholarship program, MVNU has been awarded over $650,000 in funding to support students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Nursing, and Speech Language Pathology & Audiology!
This is a HUGE opportunity for students in Ohio! As part of the COF program, MVNU is offering scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $8,000 per year — with an average of $5,000 annually — to eligible students. These scholarships are renewable for up to 8 semesters and can be combined with other MVNU scholarships and grants.
Scholarships are available to Ohio residents who are first-year freshmen pursuing a STEM major. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for scholarship renewal.
Application Requirements
You may be eligible for a Choose Ohio First scholarship if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a resident of Ohio.
- You are seeking a certificate, associate degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in an eligible STEM discipline.
- You are enrolled at a participating college or university.
- You are new to the program of study at the college or university (this this includes students currently enrolled in a non-STEM program who decide to transfer/change majors into a STEM program)
- You meet the college or university’s eligibility criteria.
