Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s International Executive Studies (IES) program is designed for international students studying in the United States on an F-1 visa and follows a hybrid instructional model that includes required in-person coursework, structured residency, supervised externship engagement, and limited online learning.

Students are required to participate in face-to-face instructional courses during scheduled residency periods, where they engage directly with faculty in classroom-based learning and complete supervised academic and professional activities.

Physical attendance and participation in required in-person instructional components are mandatory for all students enrolled in the program and are part of each student’s full-time academic enrollment.

This hybrid format ensures students receive the academic instruction, faculty engagement, and residency experience required as part of the program, while incorporating limited online coursework consistent with federal regulations.
