MVNU, Knox County to honor MLK Jr. at annual Commemorative Breakfast
The Knox County community is invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Annual Knox County MLK Commemorative Breakfast on Monday, January 19, at 9 a.m. in Foster Hall, Ariel Arena, at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Thorne Library receives grant to expand Children’s Literature collection
Thanks to a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Thorne Library has been awarded $1,031 through the Celebrating Ohio Book Awards & Authors (COBAA) LSTA Grant.
