Chemistry Pre-Medical Program Highlights
Mount Vernon Nazarene University's Chemistry Pre-Med program gives students practical experience both inside and outside the classroom. Through laboratory courses, research opportunities, and healthcare shadowing experiences, students build the scientific and professional skills needed for medical school and healthcare careers. Students work with modern lab equipment in environments designed to mirror professional scientific settings, while many upper-level chemistry majors also gain experience serving as paid laboratory assistants or recitation leaders
Faith is woven into every part of the Chemistry Pre-Med program. Students are encouraged to explore scientific theories and medical ethics through a Christian worldview while growing spiritually alongside academically.
