Why Choose MVNU

The Secondary Education 7–12 program at MVNU prepares students to become licensed teachers in a specific subject area such as English, mathematics, science, or social studies.

Secondary education programs are teacher preparation programs that are linked to content majors and lead to a teaching license. Students seeking a secondary teaching license will have two advisors: one for their content major and one for their secondary education program.

You can choose from Integrated Mathematics, Integrated Social Studies, Integrated Language Arts, or Life Science as a secondary licensure area.
