The MVNU HW Hub is a state-of-the-art academic facility located in downtown Mount Vernon, specifically designed to support students in engineering and computer science programs. This hub, an expansion of the Stephen W. Nease Center, offers substantial growth in academic facilities, including a Cyber security lab, Virtual reality lab, Embedded systems research lab, Computing and networking lab, and Mechanical engineering lab. It provides a synergistic setting for intentional collaboration between these two academic departments. The HW Hub was named to honor Hunter N. Wright, president of Ariel Corporation, and was made possible through a generous grant from The Ariel Foundation and the revitalization efforts of the Knox County Land Bank.
