Knox Youth Choir

Registration for Fall 2026 coming in August

(Mondays, 4:30-5:30 p.m.)

Participant fee — $45

The MVNU Community Music School is pleased to host and direct the Knox Youth Choir Program. The purpose of this choir is to help singers learn the joy of singing, build good vocal habits and a solid foundation for musical literacy skills while forming lasting friendships. The Youth Choir consists of singers in third through eighth grade and is open to all interested students in the Mount Vernon and Knox County community. Older youth (7th-8th graders) are also invited to join the choir and will serve as leaders and assistants for the group.

The Knox Youth Choir is directed by Luane Campbell. Luane recently retired from the Mt. Gilead Exempted Village Schools after teaching music for 39 years! She is excited to continue sharing her love of teaching and performing music with young singing musicians of Knox County!

The Knox Youth Choir will meet at MVNU in the R.R. Hodges Chapel Building beginning on Monday, Sept. 16 at 4:30 p.m.

The Knox Youth Choir will present two concerts: a winter concert (December) and a spring concert at the end of the school year (early May). Payment for the year can be made in full ($80) or in two payments ($45 each)
