Health & Physical Education

Empower health, wellness, and strength with our dual-licensure program for PK-12 teachers.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Health & Physical Education

The Health and Physical Education program is a multi-age licensure program for health and physical education teachers in PK-12 environments. Your Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Health Education degree encompasses two Ohio teaching licenses – Health and Physical Education. MVNU’s program is one of only a few in the state that offers dual licensure in these two programs.

MVNU's Education Department has long been known for the quality of its education programs because of the unique opportunities for extensive hands-on field experience offered to students starting freshman year. This kind of experience will help you develop effective teaching practices, give you real classroom experience, allow you to make connections with local schools and educators, and bulk up your résumé.
