College Credit Plus (CCP) for Ohio Students

CCP for Ohio Students

Eligible students who participate in Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program, take classes for free at MVNU! Through the CCP program, the state of Ohio pays tuition costs for up to 30 credit hours per year (120 credit hours total). Textbook costs are covered by public and private schools while homeschooled students must purchase their own textbooks. 

Interested in taking advantage of this great opportunity? Please follow these steps:

Public School Student

  • Step 1 — Determine Eligibility

  • Step 2 — Apply and Get Accepted

    • Applications are accepted all year
    • Applications for fall and spring terms must be submitted no later than one week before classes start
  • Step 3 — Post Acceptance

    • Complete post-acceptance forms
    • Schedule an advising appointment
    • Attend New Student Orientation
    • Schedule placement testing if needed

Private or Homeschooled Student

  • Step 1 — Determine Eligibility

  • Step 2 — Apply and Get Accepted

    • Apply by March 15 if you are using MVNU's acceptance letter for your OH | ID application. Otherwise, submit your application no later than one week prior to the start of the term.
    • Send DualEnrollment@mvnu.edu a copy of your State Funding Award Letter (released to parents in early May). 
  • Step 3 — Post Acceptance

    • Complete post-acceptance forms
    • Schedule an advising appointment
    • Attend New Student Orientation
    • Schedule placement testing if needed
