Life at MVNU goes way beyond the books. You’ll have every opportunity to get involved in campus activities that will enrich your experience as a student. Join one of the more than 50 student-led clubs and organizations (or start one of your own!). Engage in a little friendly (and free!) athletic competition by participating in intramurals. Rent a kayak or bike from our REC for a day on the Kokosing river or trail with friends. Plug into a small group, a CoSMO service project, or an international mission trip. Mount Vernon Nazarene University proudly announces the retirement of four distinguished faculty members and three staff members whose collective service spans over 170 years. Their unwavering dedication to education, mentorship, and leadership has profoundly shaped the MVNU community.
MVNU Observes Arbor Day with Tree Plantings
In celebration of Arbor Day, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Campus Tree Advisory Committee led the planting of two Sweetbay Magnolia trees recently and will add a Bald Cypress to this year’s plantings later in May. The event reflects MVNU’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and campus beautification.
