What is Scholars Day at MVNU?

Scholars Day is an event at MVNU where eligible high school seniors are formally invited to participate in the University Scholars Fellowship Interview Day. It serves as an opportunity for high-achieving students to engage with the university's honors program.

Who is eligible to participate in Scholars Day?

To be formally invited to Scholars Day and the University Scholars Fellowship Interview Day, you must be a high school senior. You need to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and an ACT score of 33 or higher.

What is the University Scholars Fellowship?

The University Scholars Fellowship is what eligible high school seniors are invited to interview for during Scholars Day. This fellowship is part of the honors program at MVNU, targeting students with exceptional academic records.

When is MVNU Scholars Day and what opportunities does it offer?

If you're a high-achieving student, this is your opportunity to earn significant academic scholarships — including one of up to three full-tuition scholarships and the MVNU Presidential Scholarship (up to $3,000) — while learning more about MVNU’s Honors Program, undergraduate research (SPUR), global and local community engagement opportunities, and much more.

Students attending the Scholars Day will also be considered for a spot in MVNU’s Honors Program.

Students who meet the qualifications and attend the event are guaranteed $500 in scholarship funds with an additional $1,000 awarded to those selected for the Honors Program. Space is limited, so register today!

Eligibility

High School senior or first time in college
Completed application for admission. If you have not applied, please apply online now. Use the waiver code USCHOLAR at the end of the application to apply for free.
Students must meet two of three eligibility criteria:
- 3.5+ High School GPA
- 25+ ACT score or 1210+ SAT score*
- Top 15% class ranking

*For the purpose of Scholars Day, MVNU will allow ACT or SAT super scoring. Official scores must be on file with the University to confirm eligibility.
