Join us on November 16, 2023, for MVNU's Scholars Day.

If you're a high-achieving student, this is your opportunity to earn significant academic scholarships - including one of two full-tuition scholarships and the MVNU Presidential Scholarship (up to $3,000) – while learning more about MVNU’s Honors Program, undergraduate research (SPUR), global and local community engagement opportunities, and much more.

Students attending the Scholars Day will also be considered for a spot in MVNU’s Honors Program.

Students who meet the qualifications and attend the event are guaranteed $500 in scholarship funds with an additional $1,000 awarded to those selected for the Honors Program. Space is limited, so register today!

The deadline to register for Scholars Day was Nov. 3, 2023.

Eligibility

  • High School senior or first time in college
  • Completed application for admission. If you have not applied, please apply online now. Use the waiver code USCHOLAR at the end of the application to apply for free.
  • Students must meet two of three eligibility criteria:
    • 3.5+ High School GPA
    • 25+ ACT score or 1210+ SAT score*
    • Top 15% class ranking

*For the purpose of Scholars Day, MVNU will allow ACT or SAT super scoring. Official scores must be on file with the University to confirm eligibility.

Scholars Day Schedule

8:30–9:00 am Check in and Breakfast (Ariel Arena, Foster Hall)

9:00–9:50 am  Welcome and Opening Session

10:00 am–Noon Interview Blocks (40 minutes)

9:50 am–Noon Campus Connections Fair, Happy Bean Coffee Shop, Cougar Corner Bookstore, Optional Campus Tour

12:15-1:00 pm Lunch/Honors Student Panel

1:15–2:15 pm Department meetings with Deans or Faculty

2:15-2:30 pm Closing Session

2:30–3:30 pm Optional Activities
