AcademicsPresidential Scholarship

the highest recognition

The Presidential Academic Scholarship is awarded as the highest recognition given for academic, extracurricular, and church/community involvement, and for commitment to the vision of Christian higher education expressed through a written essay.

This scholarship is worth up to an additional $3,000 award beyond other MVNU merit scholarships for which you quality, and is renewable for up to five years based on the same maintenance criteria established for your other merit scholarships.

Eligibility to apply for this scholarship is based on your academic achievement and on your plans to enroll at MVNU as a freshman in the fall of 2018. You must have a composite ACT score of 26 or greater (or SAT combined critical reading and mathematics score of 1210 or greater) and a GPA of 3.50 or greater.

To be considered for selection, you must submit the Scholarship Application (available Nov. 2017) along with one short essay covering the themes outlined in the on the Application. The form and essay must be submitted in paper or electronic format by Dec.1 ,2017.

HONORS APPLICATION

The initial deadline to submit an application for admission to the Honors Program for Fall 2018 has passed. However, if you missed the initial application process, you may still apply. Please contact Dr. Brett Wiley to request an application.
